Scroll the calendar on this page | the closest upcoming date is sorted first and highlighted as "upcoming" in green. You can filter by exam (UPSC, UPPSC, CDS, CAPF) to see only the dates that matter to you.
Official updates are fetched automatically every day from upsc.gov.in and uppsc.up.nic.in, and every button opens the exact official PDF or notice. Exam dates come from the official UPSC and UPPSC annual calendars. The "Exam News & Job Alerts" section lists headlines from news and job-alert websites; always confirm those on the official portal before applying.
Each notification on the calendar carries its own application last date. Tap any event tile to see the "Application last date" in its description, then apply well before that date | official portals routinely get slow on the final day.
Yes. UPSC allows final-year bachelor's students to appear in the Preliminary Examination provisionally, provided they prove their degree before the next stage (Mains). UPPSC allows graduates to apply as long as you meet the education rules in the notification.
Both UPSC and UPPSC usually open a short correction window after the application closes | for example, UPPSC opened corrections around 10 August 2026. Only certain fields can be edited, and the window closes quickly, so review your form carefully before hitting submit.
For UPSC CSE you must be 21-32 years (General) as on 1 August of the exam year, with relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD. Attempts: 6 for General, 9 for OBC, and unlimited for SC/ST within the age limit. UPPSC PSC is 21-40 years with state-government relaxations.
Yes. In Prelims Paper I (GS) each wrong answer deducts one-third (0.66) of the marks of that question; Paper II (CSAT) has the same one-third penalty. Unanswered questions carry no penalty, so never guess wildly.
UPSC waives the application fee for female candidates and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates | General male candidates pay around ₹100. UPPSC exemptions follow state rules and are explained inside each notification, so check the fee table before paying.
Yes. UPPSC has made OTR compulsory | you cannot apply for any exam without a valid OTR number. Complete your one-time registration on uppsc.up.nic.in early so you are not locked out when an application window opens.
Yes | most exams accept separate applications, and UPSC even shares the same Prelims paper for CSE and IFoS. Just check each notification for its own eligibility, age rule and last date, and be ready to drop one if two exam dates clash.
