How a mock is scored
Each correct answer earns 2 marks and each wrong answer costs 0.66 marks, the one-third penalty UPSC applies in Prelims General Studies. Questions you leave blank score zero, so the mock rewards the same judgement the real paper does: attempt what you can reason out and skip what you cannot.
A 100-question mock is therefore marked out of 200. When you submit, you see your score and the correct option for every question, with its year, subject and topic.
Before you start
Mocks work best after topic-wise revision. If a subject is still shaky, use topic practice to work through its previous year questions first, check the paper pattern on the syllabus page, and keep an eye on dates in the exam calendar.
